 Winners of the "Best Special

SEN Assist are thrilled to have won the SEN ICT category,
                    of the prestigious Education Resources
Awards 2013, for their Early Shakespeare software.

The judges, an independent panel of 28 experienced
educational professionals, most of whom are classroom teachers,
felt that the software range was a perfect introduction to
                    the wonderful works of Shakespeare.

They recognised the quality of the stories which are told
using the first 100 high frequency words. The four ability
levels ensure all children are included in the learning activities.

Adele Devine, managing director, SEN Assist commented:
“SEN Assist is thrilled to have won this prestigious
award for two consecutive years. We are extremely proud of
our Early Shakespeare software, which was created with love
and attention to detail. The voice talents of professional
actors bring Shakespeare’s words to life creating a
product, which will enable ALL children to experience and
learn to love the words. We thank the ERA judges for choosing
                    Early Shakespeare.”

Caroline Wright, director, BESA comments: “What makes
these Awards different is that they focus on the resources,
services and the people that really make an impact on learning
and the day-to-day work of the teachers in the classroom.

“We would like to congratulate SEN Assist for the quality
                    and success of Early Shakespeare.”
